Abu Simbel temples are 300 km southwest of Aswan (about 300 km by road). The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In fact, it known as the “Nubian Monuments”. It runs from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae which near Aswan. Furthermore, The twin temples originally carved out of the mountainside.
