8 days Egypt tour day 1: Cairo

8 days Egypt tour including Cairo, Alexandria & 03 nights Nile cruise will start by the arrival at Cairo airport. Meet & assist by our representative through the formalities and customs. The day will be a full day tour to visit Sakkara, 28 Km southern to Giza, where you will see the Step Pyramid of Zoser. In fact, the pyramid is the first one built in Egypt. And then, we head to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt. Over there you will see the huge statue of King Ramses II lying on the ground losing his arm. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. And then, we continue to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which built by manual labor.

In fact, it is the largest of the three main Pyramids. Moreover, it is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World. And then, we will visit Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45 m, with its paws 15 m long. Dinner and overnight will be also at the hotel.

8 days Egypt tour day 2: Cairo

Breakfast will be also at the hotel. The day will be a full day tour to the world famous Egyptian Museum. In fact, the museum features 100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization. The objects also include the treasures of Tutankhamen. Lunch will be also at a local restaurant. And then, we will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, built between 1176 and 1182 A.D.

The Citadel fortress indeed provides a panoramic view of Cairo from the Moqattam hills. Furthermore, the Citadel complex includes the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammad Ali. Continue to Old Cairo to visit Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and have a look at Amr Ibn El Aas Mosque. In fact, the mosque is the first mosque built in Egypt. Continue to Khan El khalili Bazaars which date back to the fourteenth century. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be also at the hotel.

Optional Tour:
Gala dinner on a cruising restaurant down the Nile. The cruise sails for 02 hours including belly dancer show. More over the program also includes folklore show, horse dancing show and based on open buffet dinner.

8 days Egypt tour day 3: Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo

Breakfast will be also at the hotel. Drive for about 3 hours to Alexandria city, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. The tour will begin by visiting Catacombs at Koum El Shoukkafa. The Catacombs consist of three tires hewn out of the rock at a depth of 100 feet. Then, there will be a short visit to the Pompey’s Pillar. It is a huge granite pillar dating back to 297 AC. Proceed to visit the Roman Amphitheater which built during Ptolemaic times. This era known as the Pan and Roman baths whereas villas and amphitheater built. Today you can see this theater with its marble seating for 700-800 person. Gladiatorial games were once held here later chariot races.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue to visit Al Mursi Abu Al Abbas mosque. It is the most famous mosque in Alexandria passing by Qaitbay Fort. And then, we will visit Alexandria Library and Nabi Daniel mosque. On the afternoon, you will have an overlooking for the most exquisite beach . It is on the eastern tip of Alexandria, surrounded by and extremely large garden. Garden is unique in its harmonious combination of flowers with wood and trees. This is El Montaza Park, the summer iridescence of ex-royal family of the King Farouk. He was last king of Egypt. The Palace gardens cover an area of some 150 acres of flowers, trees and palms. Drive back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Cairo.

8 days Egypt tour day 4: Cairo – Aswan (Nile cruise)

Breakfast will be also at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport for departure to Aswan. Upon arrival Aswan airport, meet & assist and transfer to the Nile Nile cruise.

Embarkation. Lunch will be on the Nile cruise board. The time will be at leisure till afternoon. And then, we will sail the traditional Nile Felucca along the shores of Elephantine Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum (subject to weather conditions). Tea & Coffee will be also served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be also on the Nile cruise board.

** Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simbel Temple either by bus or by flight.
Abu Simbel temples are 300 km southwest of Aswan (about 300 km by road). In fact, the complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It known as the “Nubian Monuments”. Moreover, they run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). The twin temples originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari. It fact, it was to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Moreover, it also was to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in 1968, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.

8 days Egypt tour day 5: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

Breakfast will be also on the Nile cruise board. Today we will visit Aswan High Dam which built in 1960. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Moreover, the Dam is 11,811 feet long, 3215 feet thick at the base and 363 feet tall. Today it provides irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, much of the red granite used for the ancient temples and colossi came from quarries in the Aswan area. Moreover, it could weight over 2.3 million pound and would have been the world largest piece of stone ever handled.

Then we will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, rising from the water of the Nile. Lunch will be also on the Nile cruise board while we sail to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo we’ll visit Kom Ombo Temple (the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries). Return back to the Nile cruise. Relax on the deck and watch primitive Village on the banks of the river glide. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. While sailing to Edfu, we will enjoy a sumptuous oriental dinner and dance all night away to the Egyptian Galabeya Party. Overnight will be on the Nile cruise board.

8 days Egypt tour day 6: Edfu – Luxor

Breakfast will be on the Nile cruise board. This morning, we visit Edfu’s beautiful preserved Edfu Temple. The temple is also known as Horus Temple, the Falcon Edfu Temple (Horus Temple)God, built in (237 BC), during the reigns of six Ptolemy’s. Edfu Temple is considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after Karnak Temple. Lunch will be on the Nile cruise board. Sailing to Luxor through Esna lock. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the Nile cruise board.

8 days Egypt tour day 7: Luxor – Cairo

Breakfast will be also on the Nile cruise board before disembarkation. The tour will start by crossing to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings with its many tombs chiseled into the cliff-side. Continue to Valley of the Queens to visit the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. The Design of the temple set at the head of the valley overshadowed by the peak of the Thebes. Our last stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, built by Amenhotep III (18th Dynasty) as a mortuary temple in Thebes, guarded by two gigantic statues of Amenhotep III.

And then, we will visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple built by man, represents the combine achievements of many generation of ancient builders. Continue the tour to visit Luxor Temple which built by two Pharaoh, Amenhotep III and the King Ramses II Who built Abu Simbel Temples. Transfer to Luxor airport for departure to Cairo. Upon arrival Cairo airport, meet & assist and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

8 days Egypt tour day 8: Cairo – Your destination

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport for the departure to your destination.
