Day 1 of Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour: Cairo

Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour 15 days 14 nights features safari tours in all the oases of Egypt. In fact, the tour starts by meeting and assist upon arrival at Cairo airport. And then, the day will be a full day tour to visit Sakkara, 28 Km southern to Giza. Over there you will also visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser. In fact, the pyramid is the first one which built in Egypt. And then, we head to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt. Over there you will see the huge statue of King Ramses II lying on the ground losing his arm. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. And then, we continue to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which built by manual labor.

In fact, the pyramid is the largest of the three main Pyramids. Moreover, it is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World. Day 2: Cairo

In fact, the museum features 100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization. The objects also include of course the treasures of Tutankhamen. We will then be back to the hotel. Overnight will be also at the hotel.

Day 3: Cairo – Alexandria

Breakfast will be also at the hotel. It will be before we start Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour day 3. Drive for about 3 hours to Alexandria city, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. The tour will begin by visiting Catacombs at Kom El Shoqafa. The Catacombs consist of three tires hewn out of the rock at a depth of 100 feet. Then, there will be a short visit to the Pompey’s Pillar. It is a huge granite pillar which dates back to 297 AC. Proceed to visit the Roman Amphitheater which built during Ptolemaic times. And then, we will visit Alexandria Library and Nabi Daniel mosque. On the afternoon, you will have an overlooking for the most exquisite beach. The beach is on the eastern tip of Alexandria. Moreover, it surrounded by and extremely large garden. Garden is unique in its harmonious combination of flowers with wood and trees. This is El Montaza Park, the summer iridescence of ex-royal family of the King Farouk. He was last king of Egypt. The Palace gardens cover an area of some 150 acres of flowers, trees and palms. Day 4: Alexandria – Siwa Oasis

In route we will stop at El Alamein area, just 105 KM from Alexandria. Over there, we will visit El Alamein War Museum. The museum opened in 1956. It is as a memorial of El Alamein Battlefield between the British and the Germans in 1942. We will also visit and El Alamein Cemetery. Continue to Siwa Oasis, heading to the Great Sand Sea. Rest and lunch will be at the Hot spring in Bir Wahed. Dinner and overnight will be in a camp.

Day 5: Siwa Oasis

Breakfast will be also in the camp. It will be before we start Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour day 5. Today, we will visit Shali Fortress, the old Siwan village. And then, we will visit Cleopatra Spring. The hot spring is one of many springs located in the area. In fact, it located on the path which leads to Umm Ubaydah temple. The temple has a forecourt, a vestibule and a sanctuary. Dinner and overnight will be also in the camp.

Day 6: Siwa Oasis – Bahariya Oasis

Breakfast will be also at the camp. It will be before we start Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour day 6. The day starts by driving for about 06 hours to Bahariya Oasis. It is the best starting point for the Black Desert and White Desert. In fact, Bahariya oasis set in a depression which covers over 2000 square kilometer. The oasis provided with water by many springs. The most famous of these, is a thermal spring with medicinal and restorative properties. It comes out in the Bedouin village of Bawiti. Golden Mummies (Valley of the Mummies) which discovered, are the biggest of its kind. Estimates are the four-mile strip of desert holds 5,000 – 10,000 mummies.

Day 7: Bahariya Oasis – White Desert

And then, we will visit Ain El Muftella temple. The temple once served as the city center of Al Qasr. Al Qasr today is the modern town of Bawiti. Day 8: White Desert – Farafra Oasis

The little Oasis of Farafra lies in latitude 27° north and longitude 28° east. Unlike the other Egyptian oases, it is not in a depression. It is on an apparently endless plain. Moreover, it surrounded by a sea of light colored limestone rocks. The 1,000 or so inhabitants live by cultivating dates, olives and citrus fruits. Farafra frequented by nomadic tribes as early as the Paleolithic period. It settled in Early Dynastic times. Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour includes a visit to Qasr Al Farafra.

Day 9: Farafra Oasis – Dakhla Oasis

The oasis lies furthest off the main settlements of Egypt. Unlike many other oases, it situated above sea level, as high as 122 meters. Day 10: Dakhla Oasis – Kharga Oasis

Breakfast will be at the same place in which we spent the night. It will be before we start Egypt Adventure Oases Safari tour day 10. The day tour will start by driving to the camp. It will be for taking a shower before driving to Kharga Oasis. In route to Kharga we will stop to visit Qasr Al Dush Temple. The temple probably erected under the reign of Domitian. Moreover, it enlarged by Trajan, who added a courtyard. And then partly decorated and further enlarged by the Emperor Hadrian during the 1st to 2nd centuries AD. Continue to visit Bagawat Necropolis.
