The course includes academic knowledge development on 12 topics. You will learn this theory partly by self study, partly through instructor presentations. There's an exam on 8 topics. We advise you to get the Dive master manual, Encyclopedia and Knowledge Workbook before you start the course. This allows you to begin studying before, at your own pace.

There are also some waterman ship requirements to fulfill, like 400m swim, 800m snorkel swim, 15 min. tread and a 100m tired diver tow. We will asses your rescue skills and look how you manage a stressful situation. You will learn how to make underwater maps and develop your knowledge on being a dive guide by going through all the aspects of the job. Another thing we will teach you is how to assist with student divers in training. This will enable you to actively take part during the courses, conducted by your instructor.

  Safari:

We offer safari’s (live a boards ), as well up north as down south. For the mini-trips there’s a choice between 2 or 3 days. The safari’s go normally out for 6 to 12 days. All the boats we use are specially designed for live aboard trips and vary in size and design depending on the wishes of our guests and the size of the group. We always keep our file with available boats up to date and take care to take boats which are not older than 2 years and have a good reputation

  Mini Trips:

Most of the diving in the Red Sea area is done with a shore-based, day boat dive operation or a live aboard dive boat. The currents in these areas vary from no current to very strong, so it is strongly advised to dive or snorkel with guides or with experienced divers who have dove in the area before and are familiar with the conditions. In the following pages, you will find descriptions as to the expertise required for the various dive sites. The following definitions of the diving skill levels should help you evaluate the required skill for each dive site.
