Day 1 |
CAIRO
(LD)
Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet & assist through the formalities and customs .
The day will be a full day tour to
visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which
was built by manual labor, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the
only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramid of
Chephren,
which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of
Mycerinus.
Nearby
see the
Sphinx,
a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long.
Lunch
will be at a
local restaurant. Learn how paper was made in the ancient times with a
visit to the Papyrus
Institute.
We will also have a
chance to stop off at a
Carpet
Factory to
see how the Egyptians weave
their carpets, followed by a short visit to a
Perfume
Workshop
. Check in at the hotel. Dinner.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 2 |
|
CAIRO
(BLD)
Breakfast
will be at the hotel. The day will be a full day tour of the world famous
Egyptian
Museum
with its
100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian
civilization.
Lunch
will be during the tour at a local restaurant. Continue
the
tour to the
Old
Cairo
to
visit
the
Hanging
church,
Ben
Ezra
Synagogue
passing
by
Amr
Ibn El Aas
Mosque,
the
first mosque
has been built all over Egypt, then
to
Khan
El
Khalili
Bazaar
which
dates back to 14th
century.
Dinner.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 3 |
|
CAIRO-LUXOR
(BLD)
Breakfast
will be at the hotel .Transfer to
Cairo airport for departure to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer
to Nile cruise .Embarkation on the cruise will be before lunch. Lunch
will be on the cruise board. Then we tour the awe inspiring
Temple of Luxor,
Built largely by Amenhotep III
and Ramesses II, it appears that the temple's purpose was for a suitable setting
for the rituals of the festival. Proceed to Karnak Temple. Back to Cruise .
Dinner and overnight
will be on the cruise board.

4 |
|
LUXOR-EDFU (BLD)
After
breakfast, we cross to the west bank of the Nile today past the
Colossi of
Memnon and visit Temple of
Queen
Hatshepsut.
The
mortuary of the temple is one of the most dramatically
situated in the world. The queen's architect, Senenmut,
designed it and set it at the head of a valley
overshadowed by the Peak of the Thebes, the "Lover of
Silence," Then we continue to visit the
Kings
Valley.
Lunch on board. Sail to Edfu.
Dinner
and overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 5 |

EDFU -KOM OMBO-ASWAN
(BLD)
After
Breakfast we visit Edfu’s beautiful preserved
Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all large Egyptian temples
and dedicated to Horus, the falcon headed god, it was built during the reigns of
six Ptolemies..
Lunch
will be on the cruise board. Sail to Kom Ombo.
Visit the Temple of Sobek the crocodile god, conveniently situated
on the riverbank. Continue to Aswan we enjoy a sumptuous
Oriental
Dinner
and dance all night away to the Egyptian
Galabeya
Party. Overnight
will be on the cruise.

Day 6 |
|
ASWAN
(BLD)
After
Breakfast, we view the
Aswan
High
Dam. It
is an engineering miracle , was
built in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid
of Cheops. The Dam is 11,811 feet long, 3215 feet thick at the base and and 364
feet tall and then to the
unfinished
Obelisk.
Lunch on board .Then will sail the traditional Nile Felucca along
the shores of Elephantine
Island and
Philae
Temple.
Dinner and overnight on board

ASWAN-CAIRO
(B)
Breakfast
will be on the cruise board.
Disembarkation. At leisure. (Optional tour to Abu Simbel Temple) . Recreational on Swimming pool. Transfer to Aswan airport for
departure to Cairo. Upon arrival Cairo airport, transfer to hotel .Overnight
will be at the hotel |
