04 Days / 03 Nights Ex Aswan

Day 01 (Aswan):

  • Upon arrival Aswan, meet & assist and transfer to Nile cruise. Elephantine Island Embarkation will be after 12:00 noon. Lunch will be on the cruise board. At leisure till afternoon. And then, we will sail by traditional Nile Felucca along the shores of Elephantine Island. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
  • Optional tour: Abu Simbel Temples either by private coach or by domestic flight.
  • Abu Simbel Abu Simbel temples temples are 300 km southwest of Aswan (about 300 km by road). The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments" which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan).The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Abu Simbel temples by night Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in 1968, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.

Day 02: (Aswan-Kom Ombo-Edfu)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. In the Aswan High Dam early morning, we will view the Aswan High Dam, an embankment dam situated across the Nile River in Aswan. And then we will visit the unfinished Obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan. Archaeologists are unsure which pharaoh created this structure. It is nearly one third Unfinished Obelisk larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 42 m (approximately 137 feet) and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons (1,066,621 kilograms). Continue to visit Philae Temple at Philae Island. Philae Island was a rocky island in the middle of the Nile River, south of Aswan. It was called in Hieroglyphic "Apo" which means Ivory. It was also known by the Greek "Elephantine", Philae Temple most probably because it was an important center of trade, especially for ivory. The Ancient Egyptians built a beautiful and magnificent Temple on this island for the Goddess Isis, but the Temple became submerged after the first Aswan dam was built in 1906, and it was not until the seventies that many nations attempted to save the Temple. All these countries, together with UNESCO, selected a suitable place, but they had to wait until the completion of the High Dam, in 1971, which would stabilize the level of the water around their chosen island. Lunch Kom Ombo Temple will be on the cruise board while sailing to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, we will visit Sobek temple, the crocodile god, conveniently situated on the riverbank. And then we will sail to Edfu. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Tonight, we will enjoy a sumptuous Oriental Dinner, and dance all night away to the Egyptian Galabeya Party. Overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 03: (Edfu-Luxor)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. This Edfu Temple morning, we will visit Edfu’s beautiful preserved Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all large Egyptian temples and built by the Ptolemy. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Finally we will sail through Esna Lock to Luxor. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 04: (Luxor-Disembark)

  • After breakfast, we will disembark. And then, Memnon Colossi we will cross to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Colossi of Memnon, the two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. For the past 3400 years (since 1350 BC) they have stood in the Theban necropolis, across the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor. And then will go to the Valley of Kings & Queens to visit Hatshepsut Temple, located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. The mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra and is located next to the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II, which servedHatshepsut Temple both as an inspiration, and later, a quarry. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. And then, we will tour the awe inspiring temple of Luxor, was founded in 1400 BCE and built with sandstone from theKarnak Temple Gebel el-Silsila area, which is located in south-western Egypt. And then we will continue to visit Karnak temple which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. 05 Days / 04 Nights Ex Luxor

Day 01 (Luxor):

  • Upon arrival Luxor, meet & assist and transfer to Luxor Temple Nile cruise. Embarkation will be after 12:00 noon. Lunch will be on the cruise board. And then, we will tour the awe inspiring temple of Luxor, was founded in 1400 BCE and built with sandstone from the Gebel el-Silsila area, which is located in south-western Egypt. And then we will continue to Karnak Templevisit Karnak temple which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and  other buildings. Building at the complex began in the reign of Sesostris I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic period. And then, we will be back to the cruise. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
  • Optional tour: Sound & Light show at Karnak temple

Day 02: (Luxor-Edfu)

08 Days / 07 Nights Ex Aswan

Day 01 (Aswan):

  • Upon arrival Aswan, meet & assist and transfer to Elephantine Island Nile cruise. Embarkation will be after 12:00 noon. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Today we will sail by felucca to visit Elephantine Island. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board. 

Day 02: (Aswan-Edfu)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. Today we Aswan High Dam will visit the High Dam which was built in 1960. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops. The Dam is 11,811 feet long, 3215 feet thick at the base and 363 feet tall. Today it provides irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, much of the red granite  used for the ancient temples and colossi came from quarries in the Aswan area. Around these quarries are many inscriptions, many of which describingUnfinished Obelisk successful quarrying projects. The Unfinished Obelisk located in the Northern Quarry still lies where a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. It could have weight over 2.3 million pound and Philae Temple would have been the world largest piece of stone ever handled, but a crack occurred, which caused it to be abandoned. Then we will visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, rising from the water of the Nile. Lunch will be on the cruise board while we sail to Edfu passing by Kom Ombo. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 03: (Edfu-Luxor)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. In Edfu,Edfu Temple we will visit Edfu’s beautiful preserved Edfu Temple, known as the Temple of Horus, the Falcon God, built in (237 BC), during the reigns of six Ptolemy's. It is considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after Karnak Temple. Then, we will sail to Luxor. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. In the evening, we will enjoy a sumptuous oriental dinner and dance all night away to the Egyptian Galabeya party. Overnight will be on the cruise board

Day 04: (Luxor)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. Today, we will start the tour by crossing to the West bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of Kings with its many tombs chiseled deep into the Cliffside. From the 18th to the 20th dynasty, the Memphis Hatshepsut Temple area and Pyramid-style tombs were abandoned in favor of the West bank of the Nile in Thebes. Several great leaders as well as many less important rulers are buried here, and more tombs are being discovered even today. The most famous is where Howard Carter discovered the treasure of Tutankhamen in 1922. Continue to the Valley of Queens to visit the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. The design of the temple is set at the head of the Memnon Colossi valley overshadowed by the peak of Thebes. Our last stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, built by Amenohotep III (18th Dynasty) as a mortuary temple in Thebes, guarded by two gigantic statues of Amenhotep. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 05: (Luxor)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. Today we Karnak Temple will visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple built by a man, represents the combine achievement of many generation of ancient builders. Continue to Memnon Colossivisit Luxor temple which was built by two Pharaoh, Amenhotep III and the King  Ramses II who built Abu Simbel Temple. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
  • Optional tour: Sound & Light show at Karnak temple

Day 06: (Luxor-Kom Ombo-Aswan)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. Today, we Kom Ombo Temple will sail to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, we will visit Kom Ombo temple, the Ptolemaic temple of Sobek & Haroeries, located in the town of Kom Ombo, about 28 miles northern of Aswan. The temple dates back to Ptolemy’s, built on a high dune overlooking the Nile. The actual temple was started by Ptolemy VI Philometor in the early second century B.C. Return back the cruise. And then, we will sail to Aswan. Lunch will be on the cruise board. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.

Day 07: (Aswan)

  • Breakfast will be on the cruise board. The time will be at leisure to enjoy the cruise activities.Lunch will be on the cruise board. Tea & Coffee will be served in the early evening. Dinner and overnight will be on the cruise board.
