M/Y Alyssa Nile cruise was
built in 2005 and was launched in the beginning
of 2006
according to International specifications and
classifications required by the Germanisher
Lloyd. The building, structure and
implementation of M/Y Alyssa Nile cruise is
based on a number of essential and vital
factors. The Architect behind M/Y Alyssa
Nile cruise is Pia Schmid (Swiss).
Arch. Pia is specialized in hotel architecture
and design. She is well known and recognized
throughout Europe for her talent and many
projects. The philosophy she adopted for
M/Y Alyssa is based on harmony of
colors, nature of the ship local environment and
usage of handcraft. Environment friendly
attitude was adopted while working on
M/Y Alyssa Nile cruise. All designs,
furniture, upholstery and cabin layout have been
specifically designed for M/Y Alyssa
Nile cruise and not out of a catalogue,
this includes the different pure woolen carpets
designed for the different locations on the ship
to enhance the final outlook.

Entertainment on Board:
Every afternoon during Tea Time on the sundeck one
of our musicians performs for our guests, taking
requests whenever possible. From Easy Listening to
Jazz and Blues the music is tailored to suit every
taste. Authentic Oriental music can be heard on the
Moroccan terrace, and on the Italian terrace you
will enjoy a variety of international music. Aerobic
classes are held twice a week on the main sundeck,
where we encourage our guests to join in the fun and
get their blood running. For those interested in
learning some basic Arabic we provide Arabic courses
on board, and incorporate the learning experience
into fun quizzes and games.
